Local Area
The pretty village of Espédaillac is within walking distance, and is surrounded by quiet country lanes, ideal for cycling and walking, with an abundance of tracks to follow and explore. The local Auberge restaurant/bar is very popular with locals and visitors and has a good choice of regional dishes at excellent value.
Just 5 mins drive to Livernon with local bars, 2 restaurants, bakery, post office and general store, and within easy reach of many local tourist and beauty spots. A short drive will take you to the town of Lacapelle Marival, for wider choice of shops/supermarket and banks. The medieval town of Figeac is approx 20 mins drive away, with it’s bustling Saturday market, as well as many delightful shops, bars and restaurants and also wide choice of supermarkets and hypermarket.
The Lot, Célé and Dordogne rivers are within easy reach for picnics, canoeing, fishing etc.
Very easy access to many tourist spots, activities and places of interest, eg Rocamadour, Cahors, St Cirq Lapopie and many more.
