Property Summary
'L’Enclos de Malpeyre' consists of 2 self contained properties, 'La Maison de Malepeyre' and 'La Bergerie de Malepeyre', a former farm house with its adjacent barn. During July and August, they are rented as one complete unit for parties sleeping up to 14, but during the months of May, June and September, it is possible to rent either La Maison or La Bergerie to smaller groups. The two properties are never rented to independent parties, so if one is rented, the other remains empty. Within 10 minutes drive from the small market town of Lacapelle Marival, or 20 minutes from the beautiful medieval town of Figeac for all amenities, bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc. and within easy reach of the many local tourist and beauty spots. Private pool. Sleeps 2-14.

These former farm buildings provide luxurious accommodation in a beautiful setting high above the Causses de Quercy. Both properties have been converted to an exceptionally high standard, tastefully restored to retain as much of the original charm as possible. Surrounded by woodland it commands impressive views over the loal countryside. Very quiet and peaceful location. The private, uniquely styled horizon swimming pool has gentle beach style access. La Maison de Malepeyre
This stone built former farm house, adjacent to 'La Bergerie de Malepeyre' forms part of the featured site 'L'Enclos de Malepeyre' It sits high above the Causses de Quercy and has been tastefully restored to retain as much of the original charm as possible. Surrounded by woodland, it commands impressive views over the local countryside. Very quiet and peaceful location, but within a short drive to Lacapelle Marival for bars, restaurants, supermarket, banks etc. and 20 mins from larger market town of Figeac. The private, uniquely styled horizon swimming pool, has gentle beach style access. 'La Maison' may be rented by itself during May, June and September, or together with 'La Bergerie de Malepeyre' to larger groups during July and August. The two properties are never rented to independent parties, so if one is rented, the other remains empty to ensure your privacy.

The main ground floor entrance is through a very pretty covered terrace into the main living /dining area with comfortable seating, open log fire, large dining table.

Bedroom 1. Double bed with shower over chair bath, basin.
Door leads onto balcony with patio furniture and independent access to gardens etc.

Door through to large dining/kitchen with French windows leading to front garden. Equipped with cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, large dining table with bench seating. A utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer is located on the ground floor and is accessed via a side entrance.

Wooden staircase leads to 2 further bedrooms with a shower room/W.C accessed by both.
Bedroom 2. 1x double bed, 1 x single bed. Impressive views over local countryside.
Shower room with walk in shower, double hand basins, separate W.C.
Bedroom 3. 1xdouble bed, 1x single bed. Wooden staircase leading down to dining room below.
Bedroom 4. is accessed from the garden via an independent covered entrance.

The private swimming pool is accessed via a trellis gate.

La Bergerie de Malepeyre

Seating and dining for 4 people, corner wood burning stove, flat screen TV, DVD player.

The Kitchen: electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge.

A utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer is located on the ground floor of La Maison, and is accessed via a side entrance.

Large sliding French windows lead out onto a private patio overlooking the gardens and poolside.

Local Area
Within a short drive to the centre of the small town of Lacapelle Marival with local bars, restaurants, 2 bakeries, post office and 2 general stores and well stocked supermarket and banks. The medieval town of Figeac is approx 20 mins drive away, with it’s bustling Saturday market, as well as many delightful shops, bars and restaurants and also wide choice of supermarkets and hypermarket. Very easy access to many tourist spots, activities and places of interest, eg Rocamadour, Cahors, St Cirq-Lapopie. An ideal base for visiting the Lot, Célé and Dordogne river valleys for a choice of many river activities.
