Climate South West France, Lot Region Spring comes early and this is the favourite time for walking and rambling. During April and May the average temperatures are between 16 and 24C. Summers are pleasantly warm and sunny, with typical temperatures between 25 to 32C degrees although is occasionally hotter! For the most part, the air is clear and the evenings pleasantly warm and there is often a gentle breeze to counteract the warmth of the sun providing an ideal holiday destination. Autumn often enjoys the warmth of an Indian summer with wonderful days spent under beautiful blue skies with temperatures between 21 and 28C. October is a perfect time to enjoy a few days peace and quiet with daytime temperatures often in the low to mid 20’s, perfect for walking and rambling in the countryside, collecting wild mushrooms and autumn fruits.
