Description
This large, traditional property stands impressively in its own
private grounds of 5000m2. Reflecting the typical style and character
of the region, it is spacious and well equipped. Conveniently located
on the edge of the village of Livernon, with local bars, 2 restaurants,
bakery, post office and general store, is located within the Parc
Natural des Causses de Quercy, and offers many local amenities all
within walking distance. The interior is traditionally furnished
and comfortable, retaining the style and charm of the region, with
its many original features intact.
The extensive gardens, carefully maintained by the French single
lady owner, provide an idyllic view from the property and offer
an ideal children’s play area. The 12x6m Swimming pool (fenced
and alarmed for safety) is a few metres from the house and is surrounded
by sunbathing terracing with patio furniture. Central heating is
available for low season lets.

The main entrance, up a stone staircase and onto a covered balcony,

bars, 2 restaurants, bakery, post office and general store, and
within easy reach of many local tourist and beauty spots. A short
drive will take you to the town of Lacapelle Marival, for wider
choice of shops/supermarket and banks. The medieval town of Figeac
is approx 20 mins drive away, with it’s bustling Saturday
market, as well as many delightful shops, bars and restaurants and
also wide choice of supermarkets and hypermarket.
Very easy access to many tourist spots, activities and places of
interest, eg Rocamadour, Cahors, St Cirque Lapopie. An ideal base
for visiting the Lot and Dordogne river valleys for a choice of
many river activities.
