The
village of Sauzet is close by with a choice of restaurants, local
shops and bakery and a weekly market every Thursday. A short drive,
(15 mins) to Montcuq or Prayssac, for a greater choice of shops
and restaurants and weekly market every Sunday. The historic town
of Cahors is approximately 20km away with its famous landmarks such
as the Valentré Bridge over the River Lot. Bustling with
activity during the summer months, with music festivals, traditional
markets, museums, cafes, shops and restaurants. Many of Frances
'plus beaux villages' are within easy reach, especially the medieval
St-Cirq-Lapopie, which spectacularly overhangs the River Lot.
