Situated close to the market town of Gramat, ‘The Long House’ provides ideal accommodation for large families and groups up to 8. Located in the tiny rural hamlet of Fontbouzou (with only 2 neighbouring houses), it has retained many original features and is full of character and charm. The private salt water swimming pool, (walled and alarmed for safety) is surrounded by open sun terracing and the extensive gardens. Dining terraces, BBQ and children’s play area, are to the rear of the house.

Local Area
Situated on the edge of the rural village of Bio, ‘The Long House’ is 5 mins drive from the the local town of Gramat, with its bi-weekly bustling market, large tourist office and supermarkets. Within half an hours drive, you can visit the renowned historic site of Rocamadour, as well as the fascinating natural chasm of the Gouffre de Padirac with its underground lakes and connecting waterways. Also close by are the numerous pre-historic caves famous for their cave paintings, the most visited being Pech Merle, and Lacave. Very easy access to many tourist spots, activities and places of interest, eg Cahors and St Cirq-Lapopie. An ideal base for visiting the Lot, Célé and Dordogne river valleys for a choice of many river activities.
